Visit the Comesa Market.
It’s near the bus terminal, but not quite in the town centre. For locals, this is a true market with more affordable prices than hotel curio shops, where you can get excellent bargains on items like exquisite Chitenge fabric. Every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Big Tree.
One of Zimbabwe’s largest baobabs and a local legend in Victoria Falls. Though some have speculated that it may actually be three trees grown into one, the estimated age of nearly two millennia suggests you should see for yourself. It’s a great place to buy baobab seeds and is only 2 km out of the town.
Pizza at Zambezi House.
Victoria Falls’ best pizza is this! Condé Nast Traveler named this brand-new restaurant one of the “Most Beautiful Restaurants in the World.” Situated on the banks of the Zambezi, this restaurant boasts unique and sophisticated design features, making it an excellent safari destination for an afternoon meal.
Zambezi Truth Voyage.
A romantic and peaceful trip down the Zambezi River. These uniquely designed, handcrafted East African dhows are unique to Victoria Falls and represent a bygone era of transportation. This connection to history and the age of exploration is strengthened by an educational talk on the spirit and story of David Livingstone.

Located in the centre of the Victoria Falls township, where the majority of the local population resides, is this distinctive restaurant and cultural experience. In this charming and quirky restaurant, savour hearty meals with a strong Zimbabwean heritage and warm Zimbabwean hospitality.
Painting Elephants at “The Wallow”
Explore your creative side and make your own lovely safari souvenir. The African elephant is one of the most fascinating subjects in the world, and it’s the subject of this guided outdoor painting session. The art session is held at “The Wallow,” a stunning elephant sanctuary that allows visitors to get up close and personal with the grey giants, about 8 km outside of town. While the elephants go about their daily lives around the waterhole, painters sit there and, if necessary, get help from the instructors.

This is the place to go if you want to witness the well-known Falls from foot. Wander the gorge’s edge and discover the verdant rainforest, nourished by the waterfall’s mist. Depending on how full the Falls are, you might want to pack a poncho or raincoat in case your clothes get too wet.
Swim in Devil’s Pool.
This exceptional safari experience provides a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get up close and personal with one of the most breathtaking natural wonders on Earth. It is only accessible from the Zambian side of the falls.
Historical Bridge Tour.
You know the entire bridge was constructed in England and then shipped in separate parts to Zimbabwe and assembled there in 1905? Take this fascinating tour to learn all of this and much more. Bungee Jump.

If you’re looking for an exciting adventure, keep in mind that the Grade 5 rapids, which are considered to be among the best day rafting trips globally, are even more thrilling during low water levels.
Heli-flip.
Fly above the fall and observe them from the sky. It’s a great way to fully appreciate their size. Along with the expansive view of the Falls, you will witness the dramatic zigzags of the gorge and the winding and curving Zambezi River. The 25-minute flight does a little more exploring of the region, while the shorter 13-minute flight is called the Helicopter Flight of Angels.
Art & Curio Market.
A filled market selling the traditionally handcrafted African curios that make excellent keepsakes to take back home. Take your time, haggle, and carry a little piece of Africa with you. This market is located near the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park entrance.
High tea at Vic Falls Hotel.
Cucumber sandwiches and cakes, a posh British tea experience in heart of Africa. To enjoy this outing, you don’t have to be a guest of the magnificent Victoria Falls Hotel; simply arrive between 3 and 5.30pm.
