Best Time to Visit Victoria falls
For those plannining to visit victoria falls , The best time to visit the Victoria Falls is really never right. Everything is dependent upon your desired experiences. September through November is the busiest dry season to visit if you want to swim in the Devil’s Pool or take walks along the top of the falls. Everything is more visible and the base of the falls is actually visible during the dry season. The dry months between June and August is perfect for those who desire to go for a safari in one of the nearby national parks.
The rainy season like the dry season has advantages as well as disadvantages. The full force and a lot flow of the waterfalls are visible during the rainy season. Although you cannot see all the age but you can see the white sprays of water all over to the point where you are standing to the views of the falls. But be prepared to be soaked in water (as mist turns into rain). You visit each of the various vantage points. Poor visibility makes it more challenging to take pictures with clarity. Swimming or walking close to the edge of the falls is unsafe. But there are benefits to the rainy season as well. It gives one the chance to see a moonbow. When mist and the light from the full moon collide, a distinctive rainbow is formed on the water spray, known as a moonbow. This is not the typical rainbow that the sun creates. One of the few locations in the world where one can see a moonbow is the Victoria Falls which makes it a unique safari experience.
We advise visiting between June and July for the best experience. During this time, the rains would have reduced and water levels still were sufficiently impressive not to affect overall visibility. As well still you can decide on your desired period to visit the Victoria Falls
